ONLINE CSR COMMUNICATIONS
We have a distinctive approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR) because we believe the internet represents a fundamental dimension of CSR and can play a key role in achieving reputational goals. The web allows organisations to reach out to a vast range of stakeholders in a dynamic, transparent and engaging way and provides powerful options for constructive, real-time dialogue.
Our flagship activity in this area is the CSR Online Awards, a research project that measures the effectiveness of online CSR communications and provides a resource with hundreds of best practice examples from leaders in sustainability worldwide.
Focusing on the web allows us to provide distinctive insight into how companies should approach their CSR reporting and successfully integrate offline and online reporting. We also conduct perception audits among stakeholders and advise on CSR reports themselves.
Are you planning to add a CSR section to your website or overhaul an existing section? We can help define priorities and plan a menu architecture, based on input from stakeholder representatives, and then devise content and interactive features to produce a best-in-class CSR website. Once your new site is online, why not use our evaluation protocol to measure its effectiveness as part of the fine-tuning process and compare the results with international best practice?
CSR Online Awards
This annual research project investigates how well listed companies communicate CSR online, spanning policies, data, case studies and interactivity. The study reflects users’ actual needs because evaluation criteria are based on the results of a survey of CSR professionals and experts who identify what content and functionality they find essential.
The highlight of the CSR Online Awards is

Sustainability Index including all of its supersector leaders (top-scoring
companies from 19 industry groups). It is supported by country rankings for
