EMPLOYER BRANDING
The careers section is the most-trafficked part of a corporate website. Why then do many companies invest so little time and effort into communicating to current and potential employees what makes their corporate culture, environment and benefits special?
Often companies consider employer branding superfluous because, the reasoning goes, they are already getting hundreds, if not thousands, of CVs for each advertised job opening. In reality, even in a job market defined by downsizing and low economic growth the hunt for the best talent remains a battle and the competition is no longer only domestic.
Where we come in
We help you create a careers section of your corporate website that is interactive and engaging in both content and style. We help identify your priorities and goals for the careers section and then open the road to get there. We do this through: perception audits, improving existing content, creating new content and functionality, evaluating the effectiveness of the careers section, fine-tuning and comparing with international best practice sites.
An effective employer branding strategy focuses not only on recruitment, but also on retention and motivation. Are you sure your star employees are not searching for another job elsewhere? You probably have already implemented reasons to encourage your employees to stay, we help you in the presentation so they remember why they wanted to join your company in the first place.
Employer Branding Online Awards
In its first year, the Employer Branding Online Awards is a research project that investigates how well companies are using their websites to present themselves to potential and actual employees.
To ensure we judged what people are really looking for in the careers section of a corporate website, our 60-criteria protocol used in the ranking includes the input gained from the more than 450 responses to our employer branding questionnaire.
The results of the first edition of the Employer Branding Online Awards will be presented in Fall 2010 and the research will be repeated yearly to track the progress of the 100 international, 100 Italian, 50 Swiss and 20 Austrian companies ranked.
