Webranking by Comprend

Webranking by Comprend, conducted by Comprend in collaboration with Lundquist, is the first and most transparent ranking of corporate websites. Based on research of what the target groups – analysts, investors, business journalists and job seekers – expect and require from corporate websites, we rank more than 800 websites globally. Our reports help companies improve their online corporate communications.

Webranking by Comprend has been carried out every year since 1997. In the 2015-2016 version, the ranking protocol was based on more than 460 responses from the capital market and job seekers.

This year, Webranking has increased its focus on the most requested information by stakeholders (such as strategy, growth drivers, market positioning, geographical presence and sustainability data). As a consequence, Webranking becomes even more a stress test of the efficiency of digital corporate communications.

The Webranking by Comprend research is based on three main stages. The first stage is based on the administration of two specific online surveys in order to investigate professional users’ needs and inclinations. The second stage is the analysis of the responses to the surveys and the preparation of a protocol of evaluation, used to evaluate all the companies included in the Webranking by Comprend research. The last step is the data analysis and the presentation of the research results, in addition to the collection of international best practices and trends.

Lundquist has represented Comprend – formerly KW Digital – in Austria, Italy and Switzerland since 2004.

Into the sustainability labyrinth: Lundquist event provides guidance on a distinctive response to mandatory reporting

It’s a critical moment for corporate sustainability in Italy and companies turned out in force at an event we held in Milan last week to hear how to turn this year’s legal obligation on non-financial transparency into an opportunity.

We hosted over 60 participants from 38 registered companies at TIMSpace for a morning of presentations and conversations about the merits of a distinctive approach to sustainability for the benefit of the entire business, covering topics of sustainability strategies, non-financial reporting, stakeholder engagement and communications. Entitled “Nel Labirinto della Sostenibilità” (In the Sustainability Labyrinth), the event warned about the dangers of having a narrow, compliance-oriented response to the requirements of the Italian decree mandating reporting on some social and environmental matters (read our blog post on how the decree is changing the Italian sustainability scenario – in Italian.)
