What do you need to know about a potential employer when looking for a new job? And how do you expect to find that information online?
To answer these questions and evaluate how well companies communicate with jobseekers, our partner KW Digital has recently launched a user survey.
Have your say by completing the survey - it shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes (19 questions).
For each completed survey, KW Digital will donate 5 euros. At the end of the questionnaire, choose from one of three charities: WWF, Médecins Sans Frontières, or Hand in hand.
The results will help companies to improve their communication and is used as input for the annual KWD Webranking: Europe’s biggest and most recognized ranking of corporate websites based on stakeholder demands.

The eighth instalment
features Mike Tyrrell, editor at SRI-CONNECT, an online marketplace of
ideas to enhance relationships between all SRI industry participants. Companies,
he says, should consider investors as a specialist audience for online communications.
But on top of traditional communications activities companies should not forget
to present themselves to the SRI community, explaining clearly who they are as
an organisation and introducing the individuals working on sustainability
issues.

Latest trends in online corporate communications – from storytelling and online corporate identity to technology, user experience and critical legal issues for corporate website management – were discussed at the KWD Webranking Awards Italy 2012.
For those who were unable to attend, the official video has now been released capturing highlights from the day.
The event was organised in collaboration with Lundquist, which represents KWD (the digital division of H&H – Hallvarsson & Halvarsson) in Italy, Switzerland and Austria. The event - held last December at the headquarters of Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera - recognised excellence in online corporate communications and served as a moment to reflect on the corporate communications landscape in Italy. This year the event drew more than 160 registered professionals representing 40 companies.
During the event we recorded a series of video interviews with the speakers, which will be released on this blog and our YouTube channel over the course of the coming weeks.
Journalism, responsible business & the ethics of communications”, gestito in partnership con ETicaNews.
-Cedric Verardo – talent specialist acquisition at UBS – discussing how to build a constructive relationship between HR and CSR
-Charlotte Rademaekers – founder and CEO of Call2Action – talking about engagement via video and social media
-Moritz Neutard – business development manager at InnoCentive – speaking about the benefits for companies of using the crowd as a source of ideas and actions

-Gabriella Ekelund - vice president of internal and group communications at SCA - talking about her company’s priorities in online sustainability communications.
-James Osborne – head of CSR communications at Lundquist - summarising the main insights and perspectives of our CSR Online Awards study.
Can human resources support CSR and vice versa? What are the main challenges the two corporate teams face when working together? We spoke about these issues at the 4th CSR Online Awards seminar held in Turin on 8-9 November 2012.
Watch the interview we recorded with Cedric Verardo, talent acquisition specialist at UBS, to learn more. Cedric held a presentation during the workshop “The responsible employer”, where we investigated the critical role of employees in a CSR strategy and how well companies are doing to raise awareness among their own people. According to Cedric, “silo” communications and different perceptions of how the HR and CSR teams work represent the two main challenges for building solid relationships.
We will address related topics at our event in Milan tomorrow – “New Frontiers of Online Corporate Communications: Social Media and Employer Branding” – where will focus on digital channels as levers for attracting and retaining talents as well as examine use of social media from a corporate perspective. The event will see the presence of international speakers such as Elaine Cohen, of Beyond Business, and Rijn Vogelaar, CEO of Blauw Research. Follow @Lundquist on Twitter for insights from the event.
